The holy warrior is out hunting for martyrdom;
but the martyr of love, his station is higher.
How could these two ever be the same,
come the Day of Judgement?

The first is slain by the enemy,
but the second is slain by the Friend.
(Abu Sa'id Abi 'l'Khayr)
