Ibn Arabi (Khabar 71, Mishkat al-Anwar): On the Day of Resurrection
________________________________________________
On the Day of Resurrection during the evaluation of actions, God Most Exalted will command the angels:
"Examine the daily prayers of My servants and see if they were performed partially or completely. If performed completely, they will be inscribed as such. If only partially, look to see if My servants have offered prayers in addition to the basic prayers that I have required. Complete with these additional prayers the partial prayers of My servants."
After speaking these words from God, Muhammad the Messenger (ﷺ) commented:
"It is only through Divine Generosity that any of our good actions are accepted."
(Khabar 72 appears is cited in Ibn Arabi's 'Mishkat al-Anwar')
